Q: How do I record
TV Programmes?
A: Attach the RCA cable to your MCR 800 via the "TV in" slot
and connect it to your TV. After connecting the cable, switch on
your MCR 800. You will see the LCD screen displaying the same TV
programme on your TV set. To record, just press the "OK" button
to record.
Q: Can I record DVD/VCD movies?
A: Yes. However, you have to connect the RCA cable to your TV
set instead of the DVD player. Turn your TV to the DVD channel
so that your MCR 800 is at
the same channel as the TV. Press "OK" to record.
Q: How long can I record the show?
A: The length of the show depends on the memory of your SD/MMC
card. The bigger the memory, the longer you can record the show.
With a 2GB SD card, you can do a recording of up till 3 hours.
Q: How do I stop recording?
A: Press "OK" to stop recording.
Q: Can I pause the recording for the advertisements?
A: No, you can’t pause the recording. You can only stop
recording.
Q: How do I put timer to record TV programme?
A: First, set the clock in your MCR 800 to the correct time.
Instead of pressing "OK" to record, click on the "Menu" button
and go to the Video option. Here, you will see two options, "Normal" and "Auto".
Select "Auto" and your screen will appear with two
timings. Set the time in which you want to record the programme.
Press "OK" to activate and press "Menu" to
exit.
Q: Can I play and watch movies using MCR
800?
A: If the movies are in the same format supported by MCR 800,
such as MPEG4, AVI and ASF, you should be able to watch the movies.
