4. Does RC-3300 have removable storage?
Yes. RC-3300 accepts Compact Flash card to expand the storage memory up to
128MB.
5. How can I preview the captured images?
You can preview the captured images by LCD monitor, TV or downloading them
to a computer to be viewed.
6. How do I reduce the power consumption?
To save battery power, try to minimize on the following actions:
Repeated focus operations by pressing the shutter button halfway.
Repeated zoom operations.
Extensive used of the LCD monitor in the Play back mode.
Communication with the PC.
Alternatively, you can use an AC power adapter.
7. I have problems with the power source
of RC-3300. Camera power is automatically switch off after
taking few pictures although new batteries are being used.
When I connect AC adapter immediately, battery symbol blinks and
camera cannot be switched on. Is it necessary to wait a
long time before use of the camera is possible?
You can change
one new batteries set or wait 2 minutes and more for AC adapter connection.
Doing so, the power status will reset, the battery blinks icon
will disappear. This is normal situation based on the design specification.

8. What is the difference between Sports
Mode and Burst mode?
Your digital camera features Sports mode (
) which automatically adjusts the camera to a higher shutter speed (of 1/500
second, at most) to "freeze" the subject in action. This makes the
subject appear sharp and the background blurred, giving the picture a feeling
of speed.
Meanwhile, you can use your digital camera’s Burst mode ( ) to capture
an action sequence as a series of pictures. A set of 8 pictures can be taken
in
each capture.
9. What is Voice Memo?
Voice memo allows a fifteen seconds audio track to be recorded with a still
image. Voice memo is controlled by pressing Voice Memo button. When the function
is active, the microphone icon
is displayed on the status LCD. The recording will automatically stop when
the set time has elapsed. To cancel the recording and erase the audio track,
press the Voice Memo button before the recording has finished.
10. How to playback audio track on the image?
The voice memo cannot be played back in quick view; it can only be heard in
the playback mode. Images with voice memo audio tracks have an icon
displayed with them.

11. How to connect the camera to a computer?
For Win 98 and Mac 0S 8.6, you need to install the camera driver to your PC.
For Win 2000 or Win ME or Mac OS 9.0 or higher, you do not need to install
any driver, and just follow Step 2.
Connect the USB cable supplied directly to the camera and the computer.
12. How
to download the images to the computer?
Turn on the power of your PC.
Connect the camera and PC using the USB cable supplied.
Set the main switch on the PC mode. “PC” will appear on the status
LCD.
Double click “My Computer”.
Double click the newly created “removable device (G)”.
This assumes that the new device is drive G. The drive letter may be difference
depending on the PC you are using.
An “undefined Name” icon will appear on the desktop if connected
with Macintosh computer.
Double click the ‘DCIM’ folder.
Double click the inside folder to display the icon of the image file.
Double click the file to display the image.
To save, copy (drag & drop) the file to the desired location on the PC.
While the camera is connected to a PC, the camera cannot be used for recording/playing
back images.
The camera cannot be connected to your PC if the card is not inserted.

13. Why
am I unable to turn on the camera?
Make sure you load the batteries correctly (refer to the "+" and "-" marks
on the back of battery cap). Alternatively, you may remove all batteries and
use AC/DC power adapter. Press the power button again to use RC-3300 digital
camera.
